Here are frequently asked questions about MAHACEF OZ TABLET NEW:

What is Mahacef OZ New Tablet used for?

Mahacef OZ New Tablet is an antibiotic medication primarily used to treat various bacterial and parasitic infections. These include infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract (like bronchitis and pneumonia), skin and soft tissues, eyes and ears, and sexually transmitted infections. It is also effective in treating gastrointestinal infections such as diarrhea and dysentery, as well as infections in the abdomen, and can be used to prevent infections during surgical procedures.

How does Mahacef OZ New Tablet work?

Mahacef OZ New Tablet is a combination of two antibiotic drugs: Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Ofloxacin works by inhibiting DNA gyrase, an enzyme crucial for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, and repair, which ultimately leads to bacterial cell death. Ornidazole targets parasites and anaerobic bacteria by disrupting their DNA structure and inhibiting protein synthesis, causing cell death. Together, these components provide a broad spectrum of activity against various infection-causing microorganisms.

What is the usual dosage for Mahacef OZ New Tablet?

The usual dosage and duration of treatment are determined by your doctor based on your specific health condition and response to the medicine. Generally, it is often taken twice daily. It can be taken with or without food, though taking it with food may help reduce stomach discomfort. It is important to swallow the tablet whole with water and not to crush, chew, or break it. Always complete the full course of treatment as prescribed, even if you start feeling better.

What are the possible side effects of Mahacef OZ New Tablet?

If any side effects persist or worsen, or if you experience any severe reactions, consult your doctor immediately.

Is Mahacef OZ New Tablet safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
