Frequently asked questions
Here are some frequently asked questions about FLOGEL HYDRA Eye Drops:
What is FLOGEL HYDRA used for?
FLOGEL HYDRA Eye Drops are used for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with dry eyes, such as burning, irritation, and discomfort. They also lubricate the eyes and can reduce redness and swelling caused by dryness. This medication helps moisturize the eyes and provides symptomatic relief from grittiness.
How does FLOGEL HYDRA work?
FLOGEL HYDRA Eye Drops contain Polyethylene Glycol (PEG 400) and Propylene Glycol. These active ingredients act as lubricants, mimicking natural tears and forming a protective film over the surface of the eye. This film helps to maintain moisture, reduce tear evaporation, stabilize the tear film, and provide long-lasting relief from dry eye discomfort.
What is the usual dosage for FLOGEL HYDRA?
Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) and blink. It can be used as needed throughout the day to relieve dry eye symptoms, or as advised by your doctor. Always shake the bottle well before use.
What are the possible side effects of FLOGEL HYDRA?
Common side effects may include temporary blurred vision immediately after application, and minor burning, irritation, or stinging sensations at the application site. These symptoms are usually temporary. If side effects persist or worsen, or if you experience eye pain or changes in vision, you should inform your doctor immediately.
Is FLOGEL HYDRA safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
FLOGEL HYDRA can generally be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as its ingredients are pharmacologically inert and considered non-toxic and non-irritating. However, it is always advisable to consult your doctor before using any medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as limited specific data may be available.

As this medicine may cause temporary blurred vision, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery immediately after use until your vision clears. Do not use the solution if it changes color or becomes cloudy. Consult your doctor if you have known allergies to any ingredients, glaucoma, eye ulcers, or if you are scheduled for eye surgery.
What happens if a dose of FLOGEL HYDRA is missed?
