GRILINCTUS BM PAEDIATRIC Syrup
GRILINCTUS BM PAEDIATRIC Syrup is a medication formulated for children to manage productive cough and associated respiratory conditions.
Composition Each 5 ml of GRILINCTUS BM PAEDIATRIC Syrup contains:
- Terbutaline Sulphate (bronchodilator) - 1.5 mg

Uses This syrup is primarily used for the symptomatic treatment of productive cough (cough with mucus) in children. It is also indicated for acute and chronic bronchitis and other bronchospastic disorders such as eosinophilia, asthma, and COPD. The dosage and duration depend on the child's age, body weight, and medical condition. The bottle should be shaken well before use, and a measuring cup or spoon should be used for accurate dosing. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Frequently asked questions
What is Grilinctus BM Paediatric Syrup used for?
Grilinctus BM Paediatric Syrup is primarily used to treat productive cough (cough associated with mucus) in children. It helps in relieving symptoms like chest tightness, shortness of breath, and cough associated with conditions such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and other bronchopulmonary disorders. It also aids in clearing irritants from the airways and can provide relief from allergy symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes.
How does Grilinctus BM Paediatric Syrup work?
This syrup contains two active ingredients: Terbutaline and Bromhexine. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles around the airways in the lungs, thus widening them and making breathing easier. What is the usual dosage for Grilinctus BM Paediatric Syrup?
The dosage of Grilinctus BM Paediatric Syrup depends on the child's medical condition, age, gender, and response to the medicine, and should be taken as prescribed by a doctor. Common side effects include nausea, indigestion, bloating, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, tremors, sweating, skin rash, increased heart rate, and palpitations. Is Grilinctus BM Paediatric Syrup safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Grilinctus BM Paediatric Syrup is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy as it may cause severe side effects. Similarly, it is not recommended for breastfeeding women as its components may pass into breast milk and affect the baby. In both cases, consulting a doctor is crucial before using this medicine.
